Redeemer aspires to enable students to be the best possible stewards of the talents and skills God has given them.
At Redeemer Lutheran School, we believe:
Every student is a unique and treasured gift from God.
The classroom should be a safe and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves.
Individual learning levels determine appropriate methods of instruction.
Academic work should be geared to each child’s level of development with high expectations for learning progression.
Teachers and parents working together, combined with God’s Word, provide a mighty force for raising children to become mature Christians with character and purpose.
ACADEMICS
God’s Word is incorporated into everything we do. In history, students see God’s hand. In language and grammar, students see His order. In science, you see His design.
We are committed to developing well-rounded students with a variety of talents. From the music we sing in chapel to the paintings we do in art; our fine arts program ensures a balanced education. Students are also taught physical education and STEM weekly and are given opportunities to check out books from our library daily.
TECHNOLOGY
When applied properly, technology can be used to collect information and enhance learning. Our teachers challenge students through online learning programs such as Prodigy and Book Creator. We use technology to equip our students with knowledge and skills they can use throughout the rest of their lives.
FIELD TRIPS AND SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
A wide variety of enrichment activities broaden and enhance the learning experience. Children excel at learning and retaining information when they are immersed in it. Field trips build experiences, memories and knowledge that will stay with the students for a lifetime.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
Most clubs will take place at Redeemer Lutheran School Campus from 3:15-4:00pm. To sign up or receive more information, please contact Lisa Althaus at 970-901-1373.
